A recent assessment by Quest, the quality scheme endorsed by Sport England which assesses the operational efficiency and effectiveness of over 900 sports and leisure facilities across the UK and Northern Ireland, ranked the Littledown Centre No 1.

The popular leisure facility scored 92% in their recent Quest assessment, ranking them as the leading leisure facility in the UK and Northern Ireland, placing them at the top of the Quest leader board in the‘Excellent’ category.

Particular areas that the Littledown Centre scored well include;

• Marketing
• People Management
• Recruitment, Inductions and Training
• Child Protection 

Peter Brown, Leisure Facilities Manager of the Littledown Centre is absolutely delighted with the Quest result. He said,

“Achieving the top position in the UK and Northern Ireland is the result of a real team effort and it reflects how hard we work to continually develop and improve our leisure facilities by listening to customer feedback and anticipating or responding to their needs. Our staff across the Leisure Facilities group have all committed their energy and enthusiasm to ensure that we are the best - and we will endeavour to retain this position”.

Over 900 facilities across the UK and Ireland have been Quest assessed to date and we should all be very proud of this wonderful achievement”.

 Steve Hawker, Quest Assessor, first reviewed the Littledown Centre six years ago. He stated,

“The achievement of such an outstanding score justifies the Centre's impressive commitment to delivering high quality services that positively impact on the health and well being of the local community. The culture of the organisation embraces innovation and customer service excellence. At all levels of the organisation there is a drive and passion to ensure that customers and colleagues are provided with the best possible service outcome”.
