Hertsmere Leisure select Xn

Xn Leisure is pleased to announce a major new customer in Hertsmere Leisure. Having been selected as preferred supplier following a competitive tender process Xn Leisure will be rolling out their Dimension Management System and Web based modules throughout Hertsmere’s 35 site estate.

Hertsmere Leisure is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee providing and promoting community sport, recreational and arts services. Established in February 2002, with its Head Office in London Colney, Hertsmere Leisure has successfully grown in the intervening period. It manages facilities owned by Hertsmere Borough, Hertfordshire County, Three Rivers District and Milton Keynes Councils. It is also the Lead Agency selected by Hertfordshire County Council to develop ten Children’s Centres in Hertfordshire.

Hertsmere recently added new facilities in both Rickmansworth and Milton Keynes to their portfolio.  In Milton Keynes Hertsmere have been awarded a fifteen-year contract to manage the brand new £20 million Bletchley Leisure Centre along with a further eight community facilities comprising sports pavilions, meeting places , community halls and outdoor facilities.

The new Bletchley Leisure Centre opens in January 2010 (see image right), which comprises a 25m 8 lane swimming pool, 100 station gym with associated dance and activity studios, large sports hall, four squash courts and a seven-lane indoor bowls rink.

Xn Leisure are confident that this partnership will provide Hertsmere with business solutions needed to achieve its objective to be “the premier provider of leisure and children’s services for the communities it serves, renowned for its delivery of high quality services and commitment to health and social welfare issues”.
