Retail Systems Award Winners 2010 – In the category of “Best use of technology in the Hospitality and Leisure Sector”

 

At a glamorous awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London, Declan Curry, BBC business correspondent hosted the who’s who of retail systems for the annual Retail Systems Awards 2010.  With 18 separate categories of awards this really was the pinnacle of technology within the retail arena.  All the technologies and companies shortlisted at the event play a key role in the increased focus on the customer experience, helping retailers to streamline their operations, meet environmental targets and strengthen their multi channel offerings.

RSAWith judges from major retail companies such as The Book Depository, Tesco.com and Marks and Spencer, not only was the judging stiff but so was the competition.  In the Best use of Technology in the Hospitality and Leisure Sector we found ourselves shortlisted against giants such as O2, Lowcostholidays.com, Vue Entertainment and the Intercontinental Hotels Group.  It was therefore a surprise and an honour to be announced as the winners in this category.  Founded on our desire to partner the industry and provide our customers with the ability to “Deliver service through technology”, the range of areas covered with this solution include, self service bookings, fast track entry, access control and secure monitoring together with improved efficiency and the potential to increase revenues.  All this at the same time as improving service delivery to members has lead to the success of our Self service Solution.  In conjunction with our partners Protouch we have been able to offer the total solution in terms of hardware and software.
