Kiosks

Xn Leisure has developed Kiosks to ease the strain at peak times on the front desk. These are designed to fast track direct debit members entry to gyms, fitness classes, bookings and other activities. Furthermore, Kiosks are integrated with swipe card access control barriers and doors.

Benefits include:

  • On Line integration - customers book and pay for activities via the web and swipe a card at the kiosk to gain entry and record attendance.
  • Fast Track sessions - members can swipe their card and choose from a range of activities on offer.
  • Collect data - gather more information on member activity usage and visit patterns compared to visit data only as recorded by standard access control systems.
  • No more queueing - no need for members to get in line at reception.
  • Release staff time - the fast track kiosk frees up staff time to deal with new and prospective members.
  • Ticket pick up option - the kiosk can issue tickets if they are needed for collection and validation by staff.

The ‘fast track' kiosk’is designed to streamline the leisure experience for members and pare back operational costs. Xn Leisure's vision is to achieve multi-functional common use self-service kiosks.

Kiosks will play a far more important role as the first point of contact for customers from their arrival at reception right through to re-booking a session on leaving the facilites.

Xn Leisure's Self Service project has recognised the need to use the latest in kiosk and payments technology, with projects focusing on simplicity of use, speed of operation and customer feedback functions. It is anticipated that Local Authorities and Operators will continue benefiting from Xn Leisure’s proposed range of self-service solutions. Xn Leisure know  that a number of our customers are looking to get near to fifty percent of customers using some sort of self-service. More and more of our clients don’t have to have the Staffing levels they used to have, so kiosks will become a major efficiency gain for them.
