Chip & Pin

At the heart of Xn's integrated 'plug and play' Chip & Pin solution is the Ocius system. A highly advanced card payment processing system developed by Commidea. It uses Commidea's central servers for online connectivity to all of the UK acquiring banks for authorisation and settlement of transactions direct to a retailer's bank account.

The central processing service provides a real time card authorisation and settlement service for any retailer using a UK acquiring bank. The fully hosted and managed service is backed by technical support seven days a week and utilises X.25, the fastest card authorisation communications network eliminating the need to install and operate your own card payment processing systems and the associated IT.
