Shift patterns can be allocated and matched to staff availability and skill set, eliminating the need to do this via a manual basis, which can in some cases take as much as a day per week per site to organise or more on larger more complex sites. Staff cover and skill sets can be automatically compared against the rota work patterns to produce an overview of staffing requirements, lagging potential problems to staffing needs.
