Xn Leisure is a partner to the leisure industry rather than a supplier. Xn Leisure was formed from the buy out of TLMS from Torex Retail on 1st December 2006 by Ed Dayan and Mark Pearman. Ed has a long association with the Xn name and was the founder of Xn Checkout, a successful hospitality systems’ business which he built, from scratch, to a £70 million company.
Both Ed and Mark knew that while Leisure remained a non-core division of Torex Retail it wouldn’t fully impact on the leisure industry and realise its true potential. They consequently bought out all the Intellectual Property Rights to TLMS and Torex’s other Leisure products together with the assets and personnel of Torex’s Leisure business.
While Xn Leisure is a relatively new name, the business has over 25 years’ experience in the leisure market and over 4,000 TLMS (THE Leisure Management System) users. Xn Leisure customers therefore benefit by partnering with an organisation offering many years’ industry knowledge and expertise.
Xn Leisure is investing in people, systems and processes. Amalgamating personnel previously reporting into four Torex offices into one central Xn location will bring service improvement and enable best practice to be shared.

Delivery of Xn Leisure’s partnership vision demands people who buy into it. A strategic recruitment program was launched to attract high calibre individuals, which led to the appointment of individuals for key roles in training, technical, customer service and a new Technical Director.
Xn Leisure is going out into the market and engaging with customers. Its 4000 plus users are across all four sectors: public, private, education and facility management. Their combined experience puts Xn Leisure in a privileged position of having a diverse knowledge base into which to tap.
