Industry partner highlight – CLOA
The Chief Cultural & Leisure Officers Association (CLOA) is the professional association for strategic leaders managing public sector Culture, Arts, Heritage, Tourism, Libraries, Parks, and Sport and Leisure services. They work closely with central government and key national organisations such as Sport England and the Local Government Association to influence the development of national policies and to lobby for positive change within our sectors.
Xn Leisure is a long-standing Principal Sponsor of CLOA, which we are regularly promoted to CLOA’s membership. This membership base includes over 340 senior local authority leaders across England and Wales. Members are interested in innovative, cost efficient business solutions for their leisure facilities and Xn Leisure has expertise in delivering award winning IT solutions for the leisure sector, which makes them the perfect technology partner for CLOA.
Val Birchall, Chair of CLOA, said: “Xn Leisure has been and continues to be a valued partner for CLOA and we are hugely grateful for their ongoing support. As our sectors rely increasingly on effective, reliable, and insightful data tools to target activities, capture impact, and promote increased participation, XN offers a great fit for CLOA members and an understanding of the needs of the public leisure sector which has developed over their long association with us.”
Jason Watts, Sales Director of Xn Leisure, said: “A partnership approach has benefited not just the relationship between both organisations, but the opportunity to work together and to share information. It’s extremely valuable to have the opportunity to be included in their newsletters and social media platforms, which is one of the key reasons Xn has supported CLOA for so many years and are proud to be the principle sponsor.”
He added: “The partnership with CLOA has matured over the years and Xn always looks forward to supporting and speaking at the annual AGM. This not only provides an opportunity for Xn to speak about new innovations and strategy, but to understand how CLOA continue to support and advise senior officers in the Culture, Tourism, and Sport sectors.”
