Product update - Google Analytics & Tag Manager

Tracking the use and interactions of visitors to the Leisure Hub can provide powerful marketing insight and data for leisure providers. The Leisure Hub has recently been enhanced to support the use of Google Analytics and Tag Manager provides the means to gather this data and subsequently turn this in to useful output reports for use as intelligence for sales and marketing strategies.

In order to begin collection of this data from Leisure Hub, registration for a Google Analytics account is first required, if one is not already held. This provides the Analytics account holder with a Tracking ID, unique to their account. From there, all that is required to begin collecting usage tracking data from Leisure Hub is to enter and save the Tracking ID in to the easy to use Leisure Hub configuration page.

No further set-up is required. With a Tracking ID stored within the configuration page, all the necessary work to update the Leisure Hubs code is automatically done to collect visitation and traffic data for use in Google Analytics. The Tracking ID can be updated at any time or deleted completely from the same configuration page. Removing the ID from the configuration page stops of the collection of any further data.
